HELLO! I am Tássia – so glad you are here!
I created the Secret Club in 2022 to make friends. Moving from Brazil to Finland sparked my interest in how adults make friends because I was having such a hard time making new ones since I moved. I knew Finland was a tough cookie, but I found a rock! I didn’t give up, though. After many meetups and over 60 newsletters, we became an unstoppable movement of women who appreciate themselves, believe in expression through creativity, and use fun as our success metric!
Secret Club started as a hobby to help me find joy in Finland and it turned into a way out of things that weren’t making me happy anymore. I realized how creative writing, magical things, and inspiring women to have fun make my heart beat happier. It’s also my feminist move: inspiring women to express themselves and feel good about who they are, and proud of what they love.
Historically, women keep moving forward and finding ways to wonderfully exist through patriarchal traps. Secret Club is here to keep reminding you of these tiny and not-so-tiny things that increase life's deliciousness each day. Little by little.

A little bit more about me
Writing has been my thing since I was a teenager and it’s the way I see the world but only this year I’ll finish my first book. I’m not the best reader, I gave up on books I don’t like simply because there are so many good ones waiting on the shelf. I love to visit impressive landscapes like the Atacama Desert or Table Mountain but I hate airports. I love driving and miss having a car.
I love swimming, sauna, ice dipping, and doing things by myself. Late-night writing is my absolute favorite way to spend a Friday night — I usually take a long shower, dress in fancy pajamas, and pour a glass of wine before typing. I appreciate silence and long one-to-one conversations. Instead of big parties, I prefer small cozy gatherings.
One of my favorite things in Helsinki is the second-hand shopping culture, which I have always been a fan of, and felt lucky I ended up in the same city as Relove. I believe in the power of dressing your character and I think we can do it and still fight the fashion industry. I’m also a tarot reader, Aquarius sun, Leo rising, and Cancer moon.
